KIDS HUGS — to both parents

«KIDS HUGS» – provides all possible assistance for the reunification of an alienated parent with the child, as well as professional psychological support before and after the settlement of the conflict.
There were no public organizations or charitable foundations in Ukraine to deal with this acute issue.

Natalia Grinberg

Head of KIDS HUGS non-governmental organization

In Ukraine, there has long been an acute problem for women and men (Parental Alienational Syndrome (PAS)), who are illegally separated from their children during family (including financial) conflicts and divorces. To date, these parents have not been able to receive any specific educational, psychological, legal, financial or counseling assistance. There was no state-level support or even minimal information in such circumstances in Ukraine. Suicides have been reported among women who have faced this problem.

We have concrete practical experience and a clear vision of solving this acute issue, as the project leader and organizer Natalia Greenberg went through this long and difficult process in her own life, after which there was a great desire and inspiration to help parents and children in a similar situation.

In addition, KIDS HUGS NGO established business contacts with qualified psychologists, lawyers, attorneys, notaries, mediators, whose help is extremely necessary at certain stages of conflict resolution.

KIDS HUGS public organization pays great attention to establishing business contacts with the Ministry of Justice, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the National Police, the Interpol Office in Ukraine, the State Migration Service, the State Border Guard Service, the Ministry of Education and Science, the State Committee for the Rights of the Child, the Commissioner for Human Rights of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, territorial boards of trustees, etc.
